Acknowledgement of Country

Common Nature acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and to emerging leaders.

We recognise that First Nations peoples have cared for and maintained deep connection to Country for tens of thousands of years, and that this enduring stewardship provides vital lessons for how all Australians can strengthen their relationship with the natural world.
