We are in the early stages of building a network, dedicated to making nature connection a structural priority in Australia. We believe that the human-nature relationship isn't just a "nice-to-have" policy option—it is a vital metric for national wellbeing and environmental sustainability.

Because we are in our establishment phase, we aren't "up and running" just yet. Instead, we are focused on identifying a core group of professionals, researchers, and policy-makers who believe this work is vital.

By registering, you’ve ensured that you will be the first to hear when we move into active co-design. In the coming months, we will reach out specifically to this group for:

• Co-design sessions: Helping us build the framework for a national nature connection index.

• Sector advocacy: Helping us identify the specific needs of the nature connection sector so we can advocate effectively.

• Interdisciplinary networking: Exploring how we can coordinate action across diverse sectors such as health, education, and urban planning.

In the meantime, you might want to check out our ‘cousin’ network—the UK Nature Connectedness Network—connecting over 500 policy makers, researchers and practitioners across the UK.
